Faithful to previous versions of the 2002R from New Balance's "Protection Pack" , this newcomer known under the designation "Vintage Orange" features a low upper typical of running shoes from the 1990s. It alternates mesh, suede leather and a hint of traditional leather that Japanese designer Yue Wu has fashioned with disconcerting efficiency into an unstructured style that we definitely can't get enough of. Even less so in this superb orange finish. The pair more precisely displays different shades close to the color of curry which clash between the textile base of the upper and its leather overlays. A white lateral "N" as well as metallic gray details finalize the design of the upper part of the shoe. Inspired by that which equips the 860v2, the sole
revolves around an intermediate section dressed in a double reminder of white and gray with which a vintage black outsole contrasts. The whole thing is perfectly balanced and should please all sneaker addicts who want to energize their look with a pair that doesn't lack spice.
