The sneaker features a black multi-layer mesh upper with white accents. The Swoosh is white and the GT logo is red on the tongue, along with three lace loops. The GT Cut 2 features a new external heel counter for better locking. The midsole is black and gray, with a full-length Zoom strobel and a React sockliner with an additional Zoom unit in the heel. Finally, the outsole features a new traction design with a rubber compound that uses deep grooves so that once force is applied with each step, the grooves separate and snap back into place, allowing the outsole to outer cover more grip on the ground.
