When the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Waves” collection released in 2021, four colorways were offered: “ Noise Aqua ,” “ Monarch ,” “ Rush Maroon ,” and “ Black .” A fifth pair, dubbed the “Roman Forever” edition has also surfaced. This pair was a one-off, made exclusively for Patta co-founder Edson Sabajo in honor of his son who passed away in early 2021. While the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Roman Forever” edition " hasn't been released, it looks like a very similar colorway is planned for the second half of 2022.

Available in White, Wolf Gray and Coconut Milk, the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Waves “White” edition features White leather and Wolf Gray mesh. Further hits of Gray are found via the suede Swoosh on the sides, rear heel, and upper eyelets. Distressed coconut milk accents are seen on the lining, laces, and midsole. Traditional “ Nike Air ” branding adorns the back heel, in place of “Roman Forever” on the unreleased pair.
