The Air Jordan 1 Mid "Starfish" is a refined look for the mid-top version of Michael Jordan's first shoe. Released in February 2020 under the Jordan Brand, the "Starfish" colorway of the popular Air Jordan 1 model is a subtle nod to a classic and very rare shoe from Michael's shoe line: the Jordan 1 High " Metallic Orange " .

The ' Starfish ' does not feature metallic leather details like the 'Metallic Orange', although its flamboyant accent evokes a certain sense of nostalgia. The end and middle of the perforated panel are covered in white leather. Contrasting Pure Platinum leather overlays appear on the forefoot, eyelets and toe box. The nylon tongue and laces are finished in the same shade of gray. A starfish leather Swoosh logo appears on either side of the shoe. The bright orange shade is used on the collar and lining of the sock. Final details include black Jumpman branding on the nylon tongue and black " Wings " outline on the collar.
