The Grateful Dead x Nike SB Dunk Low "Green Bear" is one of three extremely sought-after colorways from the Californian rock band's collaboration with Nike SB. In 2020, Nike SB has produced a swarm of new and original designs that incorporate elements from outside sneaker culture, with the trio of Grateful Dead Dunks leading the list. The two-tone look of the upper features green faux fur on the toe, middle and heel, in direct reference to the band's walking bear characters, commonly seen on various album and book illustrations. The pattern reappears in a multicolor design on the insole. The forefoot, eyelets and heel are covered in tonal suede.
