Skate Like a Girl , a nonprofit organization with chapters across the West Coast, uses skateboarding to create an inclusive community of empowered, confident individuals. Since its inception twenty-two years ago, the team has even received support from Nike SB, who partnered with the organization to create their own Dunk Low. Rendered in appropriately bold colors, the Skate Like a Girl x Nike SB Dunk Low features burgundy nubuck from heel to toe. Louder and livelier Swooshes wander to the side, opting for subtly marked leathers. The base, meanwhile, completes the colorway with a more neutral look, complementing the rubber background with its off-white hue. In addition, Skate Like a Girl is written on the tongue and insole which are reminiscent of tube socks, the latter also representing a group of skaters. Other logos are also embroidered on the heel, just below a restyled Nike text.
