Through A Ma Maniére , an agency of the Whitaker Group, Whitner and his team have developed highly coveted pairs of the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 3. Complementing the former, the collaborators are set to launch a Air Jordan 2 on May 13 under the “ Airness ” banner. The pair had been announced for months by newsmakers, but A Ma Maniére only recently revealed them via the short film " Your Airness ". For two minutes and ten seconds, cinematographer Tyler Clark films artist Kyla Lacey reciting an original and powerful poem, implicitly directed toward black and brown communities. A rose growing on concrete, black mothers with their children, and black youth expressing themselves through clothing and performance are captured in the campaign led by the Turner brothers, motifs that appeared in the narratives that accompanied the previous work of A Ma Maniére.

The store's Jordan 2 takes on a color scheme that's just as muted as its two predecessors, with high-quality cracked leather across most of the upper. A royal tint, reminiscent of wine, rests on the thorns and is accompanied by the marking “ MANIÉRE ”. The quilted interior lining returns to its role, adding a touch of luxury to Whitner and his team's version of Michael Jordan's second sneaker. In addition, ladder-shaped patterns are found throughout the pair, especially on the midsole, bringing even more luxury to this silhouette made for basketball. Together, each of the aforementioned components creates an attractive shoe, while representing so much more.
