Nike SB is certainly no stranger to extremely rare and near-unobtainable sneakers (most of them Dunks), from the first joint effort with Supreme to the riot-inducing crossover with Staple. The sub-label's brief collaboration with eBay is far more legendary, however, as two of the three pairs supposedly produced were sawn into four separate parts. Fast forward nearly two decades later and we are now seeing the pieces come together...literally. After several teasers over the last year, official images of the eBay x Nike SB Dunk Low have finally surfaced. And rather than recreate the original colorway exactly, the two partners chose to imitate what the Dunk Low would look like if the aforementioned fragments were glued together. The result is a unique and more personal version that abandons aesthetics in favor of storytelling, and which simultaneously celebrates the life of Sandy Bodecker. The brand's colors (red, blue, yellow, and green) are present on the patent leather construction, but they are somewhat overshadowed by the transparent TPU and icy midsole pieces that run vertically through three different sections of the shoe .
