The Air Jordan 1 Low continues to emerge in new styles.

The lifestyle version of Michael Jordan 's first signature sneaker offers a healthy blend of heritage and modernity. In recent months, the sneaker has surfaced in at least two sets prepared for the Year of the Dragon. As 2024 approaches, Peter Moore 's beloved 1985 design has appeared in a new version seemingly inspired by the traditions of the Asian Far East. A combination of “ Phantom ,” “ Star Blue ,” and “ Coconut Milk ” tones share space on the shoe, creating a refreshing Air Jordan 1 . Suede and leather panels across the upper elevate the pair's construction, with the lower heel opting for a refined look reminiscent of Nike, Inc.'s previous " Vachetta Tan " offerings. The profile swooshes, however, deviate from their surroundings in a “ Star Blue ” denim construction that features ornate contrast stitching details. This design is reminiscent of the older “ Sashiko ” styles of the Air Jordan line, styles rooted in centuries-old practices in Japan.

Underfoot, the “ Special Edition ” (SE) AJ1 Low remains simple, but classy. The off-white midsole gives a look of age to the project. Moore's signature radial pattern outsole opts for a semi-translucent brown finish that matches the leather pieces on the upper, as well as the interior lining.
