The Air Jordan 1 Mid SE "Metallic Gold" is a brightly colored model of Michael Jordan's legendary first shoe in its mid-top version. Launched in November 2020, the Special Edition (SE) "Metallic Gold" continues Nike and Jordan Brand's love of the luxury metallic theme, having previously been used on iconic models such as the Air Force 1, the Air Max 1 and the Jordan 1. As for the design of this shoe, panels of smooth white leather on the perforated toe and mid panel form the base of the upper.

Layers of metallic gold leather come into play on the forefoot, eyelets, collar and heel, giving the Jordan 1 Mid a premium look. Elsewhere, a black leather Swoosh appears on either side and a black “ Wings ” logo can be found on the collar. Black shoe laces are placed atop the white nylon tongue which features a white nylon label with classic Jumpman detailing.
