Nike - Vaporwaffle sacai Villain Red Neptune Green

The sacai x Nike VaporWaffle “Villain Red” is one of the silhouette’s first colorways that incorporates elements of Nike’s modern Vaporfly and retro Air Pegasus ’83 runners. The “Villain Red” colorway of the avant-garde VaporWaffle follows the order of design preference of Sacai which does everything “two” with its collections at Nike. Like Sacai and Nike's LDWaffle model from 2019, the VaporWaffle has two Swooshes on either side of the central mesh panel - one on black leather and one in light blue paint slightly below.

Neptune Green suede is layered around the eyelets and on the laces, contrasting with the wicked red hue of the hairy suede toe. The same shade of red appears on the leather detailing on the rear of the shoe, below the black leather heel tab, with double green sacai and Nike branding. Below the black and green laces are white mesh and beige nylon tongues. The stacked midsole splits at the heel in a shape reminiscent of the Vaporfly to complete the bold and unique look.
