Nike SB - Zoom Blazer Mid Sashiko Mystic Navy

This year, Nike SB presents a new sneaker collection that is inspired by an ancient form of Japanese embroidery called " Sashiko ", which translates into English as "little strokes". This intricate hand-stitching technique, which dates back to the early 1600s, is applied to a few silhouettes, including the Dunk Low, Janoski and Blazer Mid. Among the three, the Blazer seems to be the most highlighted silhouette so far, being the only member to be revealed via an official image, and after unboxing its sesame/denim option, it makes room for another entrance. Essentially using a similar but reversed palette, the canvas upper is dipped in “Mystic Navy,” while the overlays, heel panels, and Swooshes are dyed in “Sail.” The cross and zigzag stitching details remain consistent, but the former stands out in all-over white, while the latter blends into the Nike checks where they overlap.
