The Nike Air Max line is celebrating its 35th anniversary and the Swoosh is going all out to dress the models in the range. While in the United States the silhouette isn't very popular, in the European Union the Nike Air Max Plus has been the sneaker of choice for years. Today, the Nike Air Max Plus “ France ” pays direct homage to one of these EU countries.

It comes dressed in an all-Black upper, with Silver chain link detailing atop the mesh base to create contrast. The mesh tongue with the imprints of " 9 " and " 3 " on the right and left parts of the shoe is embellished with a set of black laces that stop just below the tongue label at the color of the French flag. Along the side of the upper, fused overlays surround the Nike Swoosh in White, wrapping towards the Tuned Air label on the heel tab. Underfoot, a black and silver midsole features visible Tuned Air units in the colors of the French flag, blue, white and red. Everything is completed by a black rubber outsole with blue, white and red accents.
