Released in 2021 by the Jordan Brand, the "University Blue" Jordan 1 features a high, attractive silhouette and uses a mix of "UNC" materials and colors for an attractive design. Full-grain white leather appears on the central part and the perforated toe.

University Blue nubuck leather is layered across the forefoot, eyelets, collar, and heel, contrasting the clean White base. Jordan Brand adds a black leather Swoosh on each side and a black " Wings " logo on the collar. Additional details include black laces on a white nylon tongue, a light blue " Nike Air " logo on the black nylon tongue label, and soft black leather on the collar.
