The Off-White x Air Jordan 4 "Sail" is the result of a highly desirable collaboration between Virgil Abloh's fashion brand and Jordan Brand for Michael Jordan's fourth shoe. Created for Virgil Abloh 's "Figures of Speech" exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago in fall 2019, this brightly colored shoe was officially launched with great fanfare in summer 2020.

The signature ' quotes ' aesthetic of Abloh's Jordan Brand collaborations underpins this sail-colored shoe, including ' Air ' branding printed on the midsole and black lettered ' lace-up ' detailing on the laces. Translucent details including the heel, Wings clips on the collar, and mesh on the midsole and throat are all firsts for the Jordan 4. The visible Air window in the heel is surrounded by a white midsole.
