The Nike Kobe 5 Protro PE “PJ Tucker” is the fifth Nike basketball shoe signed by Kobe Bryant, dressed in an exclusive PJ Tucker colorway. As the shoe king of the NBA, Tucker has worn virtually every coveted basketball shoe, performance-based or not, at one point or another in his long playing career. Today he gets a multi-color design on one of his favorite models, the Nike Kobe 5 Protro.

The upper features red mesh detailing on the collar and heel. Dark gray reptilian patterns are present on the middle of the panel and on the perforated end. A contrasting University Blue toe cap adds a pop of color to the front of the shoe. Other details of note are sail overlays on the forefoot and eyelets, a cream polka dot Swoosh on each side, and neon green cotton laces against the white mesh tongue. The purple lining stands out against the black TPU clip bearing Bryant's signature. Zoom Air technology is incorporated into the foam midsole for superior comfort on or off the court.
