The upper of the Nike Air Max Plus Flax Sail combines lightweight mesh and synthetic leather, two materials that allow for a blend of breathability, support, and durability. Nike introduces a particularly interesting modification to the model's historic construction here: the famous wavy cage lines are interpreted with premium embroidery, lending greater finesse to the sides of the shoe.
