The upper of the Nike Air Max Plus 7 Dusk rests on a gradient mesh that transitions gradually from Total Orange at the forefoot to more violet Cactus Flower shades at the heel. This transition is a direct nod to the natural inspirations that influenced Sean McDowell when he created the Air Max Plus universe. The colorful base is covered by black overlays with a fluid, dotted pattern, characteristic of the Air Max Plus VII, which structure the silhouette while accentuating its sense of movement.

The Volt accents provide the model's sharpest contrast. They appear notably on the small lateral Swoosh as well as in certain parts of the sole and Air units, creating a luminous break from the warm and dark tones of the upper. Smoke Grey completes the palette with more neutral shades, balancing an already highly graphic design.
