While not as beloved as its first offering, the Nike GT Cut 2 continues to highlight the Beaverton-based brand's experimental efforts on the field, with the latest effort potentially a harbinger of a new online collection for the brand's unsigned silhouettes. Named " Leap High " due to its typography on the tongue that resembles that of an information factory, a stark white base layer brightens the entire composition, allowing for the inclusion of disparate and titled hues to reign supreme.
With a thin teal stripe across the forefoot, the lower portion of the molded heel counter is surrounded by bright red trim. Coordinating the pair's hues in a speckled arrangement along the midsole, a jet black Swoosh sits at the midfoot before an abstract amalgamation of basketball patterns and bright colors fills out the construction tongue and perforated heel tab.
