Every year, Art Basel in Miami brings a massive influx of celebrities, art lovers and fashionistas to South Beach for a week filled with exclusive releases, exhibitions and conversations surrounding the art scene. When it comes to sneakers, we often see brands releasing limited pairs of special edition shoes. Some of the best examples include SoleFly's AJ 1 High collab in 2018 and the AJ 1 High " Art Basel Pack " which released exclusively on a yacht during the event. While Nike Basketball released the Freegum x Nike LeBron 9 early at Art Basel in 2011, 2022 will see its latest silhouette, the Nike LeBron 20, in an “Art Basel” version in December.

Seen on the feet of LeBron himself during a recent NBA game and posted on his Instagram, the pair ditches the typical mesh upper in favor of an all-nubuck construction and bears an uncanny resemblance to the color variant " Pink Diamond ” recently spotted.

This version takes on a varsity gold hue, as do the lace and tongue, while the double Swoosh detail along the midfoot is metallic silver on the bottom and leopard print on the left pair, while the right pair receives a blacked-out Swoosh instead of the silver makeup. As for the rest of the branding details, things remain the same: the heel has LeBron's crown logo, and his signature is on the tongue. Underfoot is a White Foam midsole with Cushlon and Zoom Air, while the design is completed with a White rubber outsole.
