The SpongeBob SquarePants x Nike Kyrie Low 2 "Mr. Crabs" is a special collaboration of the beloved cartoon series and Nike Basketball inspired by the owner of Bikini Bottom's favorite fast food restaurant, Mr. Crabs. This version comes with the box of limited edition sneakers branded Krusty Krab. Nike continues to draw inspiration from Kyrie Irving's affinity for kid-themed pop culture references, as each of the main characters from the hit Nickelodeon television series has been given a design unique to their personality traits.
For the "Mr. Crabs" model, Red overlays make up the majority of the upper and midsole. Flashes of silver green accent pieces of the midsole and collar, a nod to the lobster's love of the almighty dollar. The SpongeBob SquarePants x Nike Kyrie Low 2 "Mr. Crabs" released on August 10, 2019.
