While in the United States we usually pay attention to the World Cup, around the world, football (or as Americans call it, soccer) is often the number one sport. German sportswear giant adidas has a strong foothold in the football equipment market, but Nike has gained support from some of the biggest players on the planet, including CR7 and Ibrahimović, expanding its reach in this sport. With Nike FC already grabbing the Air Max 95, its reach extends to the upcoming Air Max Plus “ Social FC .”

The upper takes on a gray camo mesh with hits of black accented by the plastic cage that surrounds the entire upper. Down below on the fender, the black patent leather pairs well with the suede fender that comes in the same dark shade. Other touches of black appear at the back of the shoe: the heel is covered in a slightly lighter black, and hosts the blue Tuned Air marking. Other contrasts appear on the tongue: the lace is white and the eyelets which hold this lace are royal blue, this color extending onto the insole. Branding placed on the midfoot comes in the form of a white and blue Nike Swoosh, while the rest of the badging gets the Nike FC treatment, in gold on the tongue and insoles. The look is completed with a white foam midsole with air units in blue and a black and blue rubber outsole.
