The Nike Air Max 95 Wheat revisits the iconic silhouette designed by Sergio Lozano with a warm palette dominated by various shades of brown and beige. This women's iteration bears the reference 880303-700 and officially adopts the Bronze / Baroque Brown / Bamboo colorway. Released on October 12, 2015, it retains the entire visual identity of the Air Max 95 while replacing the traditional gray gradients with more natural, earthy tones. This approach gives the pair an autumnal look, easily paired with streetwear and casual silhouettes.

The upper of the Nike Air Max 95 Wheat features the model's signature layered construction, with several overlapping panels that evoke human anatomy, one of Sergio Lozano's main inspirations for the Air Max 95. Nike explains that the different layers can resemble muscle fibers, while the nylon eyelets refer to the ribs and the central reinforcement under the foot evokes the spine. On this Wheat version, the Bronze and Baroque Brown shades reinforce this sense of depth while giving the sneaker a more organic finish.

The Bronze / Baroque Brown / Bamboo colorway is the main distinctive element of this iteration. The different brown tones are distributed progressively across the side panels and create a subtle gradient effect, while lighter areas provide contrast. This palette replaces the colder aesthetic of many classic Air Max 95s with a warmer, more natural treatment, consistent with the Wheat nickname.
