The Nike Air Max 95 Denham revisits one of Nike’s most iconic silhouettes through the denim craftsmanship of DENHAM, a brand founded in Amsterdam by Jason Denham. Released on September 25, 2020, this collaboration carries the reference DD9519-001 and features the official Black / Summit White / Volt colorway. The model directly draws from the spirit of the Air Max 95 OG "Neon," but replaces much of its traditional materials with various shades of denim. This meeting between running heritage and denim culture gives the pair an identity that is simultaneously retro, premium, and deeply connected to DENHAM’s textile expertise.

The upper of the Nike Air Max 95 Denham retains the anatomical construction designed by Sergio Lozano, but the side panels are here crafted from several shades of Italian Candiani denim ranging from black to ecru. This layering recreates the famous Air Max 95 gradient while adding more texture to the silhouette. A white mesh zone appears on the upper part of the vamp to provide contrast and breathability, while the mudguard and forefoot continue the use of dark denim.

The Volt accents serve as the main homage to the OG Neon colorway. They appear notably on the lace loops, the mini-Swoosh, and the visible Air units, bringing an immediately recognizable fluorescent touch to the black, grey, and ecru palette. The collaboration also adds several signature elements unique to DENHAM: the famous scissors logo, "DENHAM The Jeanmaker" branding on the interior, and co-branding elements on the insoles. Additionally, the heel features a natural leather finish that adds further contrast to the denim textures.

Underfoot, the pair maintains the characteristic architecture of the Air Max 95, with visible Max Air units in the heel and forefoot. This configuration is one of the historic elements of the model launched in 1995 and contributes as much to its comfort as to its visual identity. The black midsole accentuates the dark character of the collaboration, while the rubber outsole completes the construction to ensure grip and durability.

Thanks to its mix of black, grey, and ecru denim with Volt details, the Nike Air Max 95 Denham works particularly well with raw denim, black trousers, khaki cargo pants, or a more minimalist outfit. Between Candiani denim, mesh, DENHAM details, Volt accents, and Max Air cushioning, this collaboration offers a particularly cohesive interpretation of the Air Max 95, bringing together Nike’s sneaker heritage and the textile expertise of one of Europe’s denim benchmarks.
