The Air Jordan 1 OG "Shattered Backboard 3.0 " color scheme is the third version of the highly sought-after colorful Air Jordan 1 "Shattered Backboard". The "Shattered Backboard" theme is inspired by an exhibition game in Italy in which Michael Jordan played during his rookie season. During the game, Jordan broke the glass of the control panel following a monster dunk.

The first two iterations of the "Shattered Backboard" were a success thanks to the use of quality materials and eye-catching orange and black colors. The “ Shattered Backboard 3.0 ” follows in the footsteps of previous versions of the sneaker and adds new design features to stand out on its own. One notable difference is that a shiny, crinkled patent leather upper replaces the leather of the first two " Shattered Backboard " models. Shiny tumbled black leather is featured on the mid panel, toe box, and ankle collar. Shiny Pale Vanilla Starfish pleated leather adds pops of color around the toe, quarter panel, Swoosh and lateral heel. A black leather Wings logo is located near the collar. A vintage-inspired yellow sole gives the shoe a lovingly worn appearance. Release date: Fall 2019.
