The adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 "Hospital Blue" is an updated variation of the ever-popular Yeezy 700 model that released in Fall 2019. Adidas and Kanye West continue their nuanced approach to reimagining the staple Yeezy shoe in making subtle changes to the Yeezy Boost 700 V2 to differentiate the model from its predecessor.
Unlike the original design which used a mix of suede and leather on its upper, the 700 V2 uses an all-suede construction on its overlays. Luxurious light gray suede with a bluish tint covers the mid-panel, toe, side panel and heel. A color-matched mesh forms the basis of the pattern beneath the layers of suede. Contrast accents include hits of faux silver throughout the upper. In keeping with the silhouette, the 700 V2 features a sturdy midsole with gray, light blue and silver accents, all of which house the well-known Boost cushioning system.
