Mirroring the aesthetic of the AJ 8, a jet black nubuck wraps the entire smooth overlays, upper, eyestays and upper collar, backing up its semi-translucent white TPU center panel and its silver metallic tongue. Returning to the titular blue established for its competitor insignia emblazoned on the heel counter and sectioned tread underfoot, a rarely but effective hit of “ Taxi Yellow ” emboldens the midsole alongside the tongue’s “ AIR JORDAN ” text , closing out Chris Paul's Player Editions-like pattern as the New Orleans Hornet.
