To honor its first collaboration with the Boston firm, and more generally with a major sports equipment manufacturer, what other silhouette than the New Balance 2002R could the GANNI teams have
choose ? The 2002R is indeed on the rise, especially since it passed into the hands of Yue Wu, the talented Japanese designer to whom we owe the essential "Protection Pack" .

Like the "Cream" edition, the New Balance 2002R "Grey" from GANNI sports an original finish marked by a contrast between a rather classic base and details adorned with bright colors. First of all, we find a white mesh underlay personalized with branding bearing the image of the Copenhagen brand. The synthetic leather overlays of the upper alternate different shades of gray enhanced by multi-colored stitching inherited from the internal lining and the back of the lace tab. These also frame the side logo, as if to better highlight its contours and remind us that this is indeed a pair of New Balance sneakers. We also observe the presence of two
tabs on the heel, in a reminder of red and especially green, as on the outsole. The midsole is dressed in white highlighted by touches of gray on the heel. Stamped with appropriate co-branding on the top of the front tab, the pair also has the particularity, or more precisely the advantage, of being made almost entirely from recycled materials, proof that it is more than never possible to stand out with original and quality products while respecting the environment.
