The Nike Air Max Plus Iridescent revisits the famous TN with a shifting finish that transforms its appearance depending on the light and angle of view. Its dark base is covered in an iridescent treatment capable of revealing different shades of purple, blue, green, and pink, reminiscent of the reflections on a metallic surface or an oil slick. This approach brings a futuristic dimension to the silhouette imagined by Sean McDowell, while retaining the proportions and aggressive lines that define the Air Max Plus. The upper of the Nike Air Max Plus Iridescent combines breathable mesh with synthetic details that reinforce the shoe's structure. The iridescent treatment covers a large portion of the upper and evolves visually with movement. Over this, the signature black exoskeleton of the TN frames the silhouette and accentuates its wavy lines. This contrast between deep black and the multicolored surface gives the pair a highly technical aesthetic, while a small cool-toned Swoosh completes the side panels.

Despite its spectacular visual treatment, the sneaker retains the iconic architecture of the Nike Air Max Plus. The arch support contributes to stability, while the visible Max Air units provide the silhouette's characteristic cushioning. Where a classic TN typically relies on a fixed gradient, the iridescent finish varies the perception of colors and adds more depth to the design.
