The weather has been pretty gloomy this past week, with snow for most of the day. And while most people lean toward pessimism (letting said weather affect their mood) Nike sprints in the other direction. Here, the brand looks far ahead, towards brighter and better seasons, and expresses it via a baby blue Air Max Plus . Like the clear skies many dream of, the upper is dressed in a cloudy, aquatic tone, its lower portion subtly brushed with a touch of white.
On top, partially transparent molds are integrated into the construction, reinforcing the almost dreamlike aesthetic offered by the underlying mesh. Elsewhere, White leathers hit the bottom half and heel, complementing both the laces and the walls of the Sail-covered midsole. The Air Units, underfoot support plate, and tongue add to the cool tones with just a bit darker undertones than previously mentioned.
