In the case of Nike , the iconic colorways are interchangeable, many often donning silhouettes adjacent to the original. This new Air Max Plus is further proof of that as it borrows the “ Sport Red ” style of the Air Max 1. As such, the colorway is quite simple, relying on the same three tones as the original.
Mesh fabrics on both the upper and lining are left a neutral white, while the hard cages above contrast slightly in a gray finish. The lacing unit is highlighted by a similar dull shade, although the tongue and cords themselves prefer the lighter of the two mentioned above. Elsewhere, the Swoosh and toe box are accented with “Sport Red,” matching the glossy leather bindings that mark the profile from the toe to the counter.
