First images of the pair show ' ZOOM AIR ' branding on the tongue, which suggests that the cushioning is modified throughout the length, first introduced in December 2019 in the 'Fearless Ones' collection, has made its way into the next retro. A “ glow-in-the-dark ” green animates the aforementioned branding, as well as the exposed foam in the slipper-like collar. Elsewhere, forefoot-to-heel overlays not only feature a rich purple hue, but also reptilian scale detailing.

The toe box panels differ from those on the midfoot and tongue: the former are black and lightweight, as is the ankle panel, while the latter features a faded gray scale pattern. As with all other J ordan 1 Zoom CMFTs seen so far, the profile swooshes are cut out and the Wings insignia on the ankle flaps are reduced in size. Underfoot, the midsole and outsole feature a tried-and-true "White/Black" combination, but the remaining tread completes the pair in a vibrant green that matches the additional laces provided in the new sneaker shoe box.
