New Balance has managed to resurrect the 550 silhouette and make it the quintessential normcore sneaker that everyone seems to be wearing. Following on from their Conversations Amongst Us project which included the 550, NB is preparing to release a white and gray iteration of the 550.
Keeping things simple, the New Balance 550 White and Gray sports a predominate White leather upper. Hits of gray cover the shoe's nylon collar, the New Balance "N" adorning the shoe's side panels, and the classic 550 label that sits atop a white mesh tongue. Moving down into the shoe, we find the classic white midsole with NB and New Balance branding written on it. The whole thing is completed by a non-marking two-tone rubber outsole in dark anthracite and light gray.
